ECHO Club, Inc. was formed over 30 years ago by a dedicated group of people who wanted to spend time working with their dogs and learning from other dog owners.

bullet

Over the years ECHO has attracted a number of highly skilled members who participate in almost every dog activity imaginable, from obedience and agility training and competitions to pet therapy visits and training assistance dogs.

bullet

Our members are involved in tracking, flyball, search and rescue, sheep herding, carting and water rescue, even sledding and winter racing. ECHO Club members do it all.

bullet

We are licensed by the United Kennel Club (UKC), and host both obedience and agility trials several times a year.

After offering training in various area communities over the years, ECHO finally found a permanent home located on two acres in Buchanan, Michigan

bullet

ECHO is the premier dog training club in the Michiana area and offers training at all levels. So whether you want to compete, or just have a dog who comes when called, ECHO has a training class for you.

bullet

We are dedicated to helping dog owners learn to live with their dog and enjoy a long-lasting relationship. Our highly skilled instructors will help you train your dog to fit into your life-style.

ECHO Club objectives are:

1.     To continue the training of dogs and handlers who have completed a Level I/Basic beginning obedience course.

2.     To prepare handlers and dogs for competition in obedience trials, agility trials, fun matches, 4-H shows and other such activities.

3.     To develop a “therapy group” for visitation to  hospitals, nursing homes and schools.

4.     To help and encourage members who wish to become professional handlers, trainers and judges.

5.     To keep abreast of policies or legislation concerning dogs and their welfare in our community.

6.     For the exchange of friendship and learning new things with other fellow dog lovers.

7.     To continue the training of dogs and handlers who have completed a Level I/Basic beginning obedience course.

Over 30 years dedicated to training dogs for companionship and competition!
